For some of you it will look fancy, but having morning and night skincare routine is not fancy, it is necessary for happy, healthy skin and who doesn’t want healthy skin, right! It is you putting your time, energy and of course your money for your skin everyday which make difference in long run. Skincare is also not just for woman , it is for all and for all skin type. Knowing your skin, investing in a good skincare products which suit your skin and make it everyday routine is essential for healthy skin in long run.
Have you ever wondered why Korean people’s skin are flawless, glass-like and super healthy looking! I am the fan of their healthy looking, tight and flawless skin. The reason behind their flawless skin is their skincare routine. You will be shock to know that they have 10 step skincare routine that they follow everyday and result is just in front of you. My inspiration of my skincare routine is Korean skincare routine and knowing their benefits you should try to make your routine too.
Here is my morning skincare routine which I enjoy following everyday and it is kind of therapeutic to me and helps to fresh start my day with all the self-love in a way of skincare. Try this and you will love it.
1. Cleanser
These are two of my most favorite face cleanser of all time. Using first thing on my face is a good face wash. My skin is a combination skin type and these two face washes work best for me. It really cleanse my face and doesn’t make my skin dry and does not give that stretchy feel.
2. Scrub
I generally use scrub once in a week and this coffee and coconut scrub by St. Ives is my all time favorite. The smell of this scrub is divine and it does exfoliate the skin with nourishment. It works for both face and body. And it really make my skin looks refreshed and soft.
3. Face Mist
Plum is one of my favorite skincare brand and this green tee face mist is one of my favorites too. I have emptied so many bottles of this face mist that I lost count. This instantly refresh my skin and the smell of this mist is so good. I use this mist after shower, before applying makeup and as a makeup setting spray too. and whenever I feel my skin needs that instant hydration I use this.
4. Face serum
I recently added this step in my morning skincare routine and it works wonders for my skin. I am using this vitamin C serum by minimalist which helps to brighten up my face and make my skin very radiant looking.
5. Massage
Massaging my face everyday is a game changer. After applying face serum or face oil, massage is important. I massage with my fingers in circular motion from chin to forehead and then massaging from center of my face to the sides and then tap my face with fingers seven times that will boost blood circulation and absorb the serum into the skin.
6. Eye cream
I use this plum under eye cream which is very soothing. this eye cream really helps to reduces puffiness under the eyes. and also work to fade the dark circles and firms the area around the eyes.
7. Moisturizer
I am currently using this moisturizer. This moisturizer works best for my skin and I apply it all over my face and neck and gently massage it until it get absorbed into the skin.
8. Sunscreen
Either I am at home or going out sunscreen is must and I do not skip this step even if I am home all day. It is very important to use the sunscreen everyday.
9. Lip Balm
I like using tinted lip balm in day time. It gives good tint to your lips without using any lipstick. Currently using this tinted lip balm by Maybelline which has SPF of 20.
10. Face Mist
To finish it off I spray some face mist on my face again and let it set.
This is my current morning skincare routine. I am thinking to invest in gau sha stone or face roller for face massage so I will let you know about that too. All products I use is suitable to my skin and before getting any skincare products know your skin type and what works best for you.
