The festival of lights!

Wish you all a very Happy Diwali and Happy New Year! Diwali is the festival of lights and we celebrate victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, love over hate. This is one of the best time of the year and this year It was good to see so much excitement around. People were enjoying this festival freely after covid.

Diwali is my favorite festival and I love the traditions. I am always excited to do my favorite things like putting diyas (oil lamps) all around the house early in the morning and in the evening, burning calming fragrance sticks, making kumkum swastik and pagla at the entrance of the house, making beautiful rangoli, having so much Indian sweets and yummy food made by my mum, dressing up in beautiful Indian traditonal wear, do puja of goddess laxmiji and spending time with family and friends. This is the best time of the year in India.

This Diwali I chose to wear this beautiful maroon and white anarkali dress from Libas. The dupatta is so pretty that I had to get this dress. It is very comfortable dress and it look so classy. I have paired it with beautiful oxodised choker, earrings and bangles. I wore very minimal makeup with bright red lips and red bindi and left my hair wavy and open. Dressing up and styling this look was lots of fun and I loved this look so much.
