Maddie went on a cross country road trip to find some answers about her past so she can see the future more clearly. Maddie has always been a workaholic and she adores her freedom, her independence, her children, her job and her firehouse where she lives in New York City. Something happened in her life which forced her to look into the past and she took the trip to meet three men in her life who were very important to her at different time. As she took the trip she started to see things more clearly and new unexpected future was waiting for her and some valuable lessons to all of her children.
The story will bind you and you will be interested to know what is next! I enjoyed reading this book. The main character of this book Maddie will inspire you. The writer has carved her personality as independent, hard working, warm, simple, loving and beautiful woman. And you will be eager to know her journey. This is very light hearted romantic story which revolves around Maddie’s past and present, her work that she is passionate about, about her three children who have all grown ups and have their family, and about three men in her life from the past and an unexpected future.
