Just as important is the morning skincare routine to keep your skin hydrated and defend against the sun whole day, the night time skin care routine is important to lock the hydration into your skin. It is said that the body and the skin is being detoxed and repaired at night time while you are sleeping, that is why it is called beauty sleep for a reason. Helping your skin with natural rejuvenation at night will make it more durable during the day. A night time skin care routine that focuses on repair and hydration can keep your complexion clear and your skin firm.
My night time skincare routine is pretty simple. It includes cleansing my skin at the end of the day from all day damaging factors like sun, wind, pollution and give the hydration it needs to help my skin to repair all night.
1. Makeup Remover
Never go to sleep without taking off your makeup. If I have applied the makeup during the day it is important for me to clean it thoroughly before going to bed. To clean my makeup I use this micellar cleansing water by Garnier. It is very basic, affordable and work best to remove water proof makeup too.
2. Cleanser
After removing makeup with makeup remover, I wash my face with this face wash, give it a good time in washing my face ensuring no makeup is left on my face, and pat dry my face with a soft towel.
3. Face Oil
I have been using this oil over a six months now. and I love this oil by Plum. This oil is the mixture of ten different natural oil, helps to gently heal, repair, nourish the skin. It comes in a glass bottle and costs around 775 for 30 ml which lasts you very long. The frgrance of this oil is very soothing and it works best for my skin. and you just need five-six drops and apply it on your face.
4. Massage
After applying the face oil, I massage my face genetly with my fingertips and let the oil absorb into the skin.
5. Under Eye Cream
After massaging my face I use this eye cream. This helps to reduce puffiness under the eyes in the morning and helps to firm the skin and reduce pigmentations. it gives very soothing effect under the eyes.
6. Night Cream
I mostly choose the cream which is so hydrating. I have been using the plum’s night cream and it works good for my skin. I layer the cream on top of skin and let it asorb into the skin for sometimes which gives cooling effect too.
7. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
Laneige lip sleeping mask is must have for me for night skincare routine. I apply it onto my lips in thick layer and it melts in and gives the hydration.
8. Castor Oil For My Eyebrows
This is home remedy for thick eyebrows. And I have witnessed the unbelievable result too. Store some castor oil in a small bottle and with the help of cotton buds apply it on your eyebrows and massage it in reverse direction from end to top in circular motion. If you want thick eyebrows it works best. I also apply this on my eyelashes too.
This night time skin care routine is like soaking your skin into deep nourishment. It makes your skin even toned, hydrating and radiant.
