Rakshabandhan Ready

The best thing about India is its cultural diversity and this means so many festivals we get to celebrate together. And I love festivities and celebration. Every festival has meaning, some reason to celebrate or season to celebrate. And Rakshabandhan is one of the Hindu festivals and the word “Rakshabandhan” means the bond of protection. This day is celebrated by every brother and sister, On this day sisters of all ages tie a thread (Rakhi) around the wrists of their brothers, symbolically protecting them, receiving a gift in return, and traditionally investing the brothers with a share of the responsibility of their potential care.

This Rakshabandhan I chose simple, classic and elegant off white Anarkali dress. It has beautiful little red flower thread embroidery on the neck and sleeves and it also comes with dupatta. This dress was very comfortable to wear and very breezy, flowy and best for summer. I have paired it with beautiful earnings, watch and rings, traditional potli bag and fresh dewy summer makeup look with bindi giving the Indian touch. This is one of my favorites Indian look, classic and elegant and my favorite color, white. This dress I got from Myntra and attaching the link of this dress on the pictures.
