For a makeup beginner it gets overwhelmed to choose the right eye shadow palette from many available in the market. So I want to give two options for you all, one is just have only one eye shadow palette which has all the browns and pinks and coral and matte and shimmers and play with it or choose a small eye shadow palette starting with the basic having all neutral (browns) shades in the palette and after you get the drill about how to apply and what you like and what shade suits you best, invest in big palette. If you are the one who has zero idea about applying and using eye shadow I suggest the later one.
For applying eye shadow on the eyelid you need good basic eye brushes and investing in good brush can break or make your eye makeup look. There is a technique to apply the eye shadows and blending is the key for no harsh edges. Apply the eye shadow from outer corners of the eyes to inner corners and buff it in circular motion with the help of brush so there is no harsh edges and starting with the base color and reapply the product for more pigment and blend till there is no harsh edges. You can play with more than one color and from matte to shimmer once you know blending is the key.

Eye Shadow Palettes:

Rose In The Air is mix of pink, browns and rust orange and has matte and shimmer both. This is pigmented formula and has less fallout. The best thing about this product is it is compact in size and travel friendly. It is gluten free, fragrance free and cruelty free. This palette is pocket friendly and has all the basic matte and shimmer that one needs.
2. e.l.f. cosmetics Bite size Eye Shadows
This e.l.f. palette is very travel friendly that why it is called bite size and very affordable and has four shades in a palette including matte and shimmer. It comes in six differnt varients has pinks and corals and browns and blues. it is very pigmented and easy to blend. This product is vegan and cruelty free and free from parabens, phthalates and harmful chemicals. My favorites is Berry Bad which has beautiful pinks and Pumpkin Pie which has browns and coppers and Tuffles, perfect for smokey eye looks.
3. Makeup Revolution Forever Flawless Dynamic Serenity Eye Shadow Palette
Makeup Revolution makes the best drugstore eye shadow palettes and everything from color range to beautiful pigments to less fall outs and easy to blend comes in one package. I love using makeup revolution palette. This particularly palette has all the nudes and gold shades best for creating everyday look to party look. It comes in six variants and every palette is amazing. The different palette has nudes, blues, greens, pinks, corals, burgundy color palettes, and my favorite is this one, classic nude one and Dynamic Allure eyeshadow palette.
4. Makeup Revolution Soph X Ultra Eye Shadow Palette
This eye shadow palette by Makeup Revolution is all you need to play with all the different colors. If you have this palette you don’t need any other palette. It has 24 different shades including nudes, browns, pinks, rusty organge, peach, burgundy, green, dark smokey shades, gold, matte and shimmer. This a beautiful palette, has very nice pigment, easy to blend. It is vegan, gluten free and cruelty free. If you want more bight colors like yellow and oranges and coral pinks there is another palette Soph Extra Spice by this same addition and has beautiful bright colors to try on.
5. Makeup Revolution X Friends Eye Shadow Palette
This another palette is also by Makeup Revolution and I chose this just because of their collaboration with F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I am a big fan of “Friends” and just look at the palette!! If you love “Friends” you know what I am talking about. they have a large range in this collaboration but my favorites has to be these two palette named from Friends characters, Rachel and Monica. It will be limited edition I guess and could be discontinued any time. But the colors, pigments and the packaging are worth buying this palette.
